These headphones are clearly high quality and well-designed. The aluminum and leather they’re made from is soft and comfortable, and it feels durable. The sound quality, as far as I can tell, is also very good, especially considering that audio is delivered wirelessly. The bass is present without being overwhelming, and you can customize the sound profile to your liking with the iOS or Android app.
I like the Transparency mode that lets you hear the outside world with a quick flip of a switch. The USB-C port is great if you already have USB-C devices. The buttons feel good to press, and B&O has cleverly made the volume down button more “clicky” than the volume up button, so it’s easy to tell which one you’re pressing. The battery life is excellent. I haven’t timed how long it lasts, but I can go a week or two without worrying about charging, even with heavy use and ANC on.

These are amazing headphones. I lost my Bose quiet comfort of many years. They were great but bassy. I love the H4s I have for home use where I don’t want noise cancellation. Their dynamic range is outstanding and “flat” equalization is what I like in speakers and headphones. These replacements for my Bose are like a huge step up. Great dynamic range. Great noise cancellation (just had a 3 hour flight and was in my own bubble). Completely true sound to voice, highs and decent bass for headphones. I’m not a big-bass sound listener anyway but the crispness of drums and bass is outstanding. They are also light and comfortable. And we’re on sale when I purchased them.
I did look at the new Bose top-end and refused to be connected in the way they demand, always have the microphone on, and other assorted complaints that just plain disturbed me. You get a huge amount of features with a total loss of privacy. Sorry but I’m over 40, dropped Facebook a few years ago, and pick every protection I can. I don’t value the feature for connectivity. I just want good sound with wireless and noise cancellation. I imagine the Bose might even be better but I won’t even consider them.

Head set is not comportable. Sound is ok, but not good as Bose or some other similar products. It’s just expensive cause of brand

wrote b&o about not being able to replace the battery on the 8Hi. I complained about not being able to twist the metal cap off of the left side of the headset and insert the battery as per some of the other instructions in the other headsets. The following is a quote from the response I received from b&o: “The batteries for the Beoplay H8i are not removable. The following models have replaceable batteries, these are the Beoplay H7, H8, H9, and H9i.” I must say that I almost completely fell on the floor. What do you do when the battery is run out and what is the true life of the battery in this headset? I really don’t think anyone knows.

Several months ago I bought a Beoplay E8. I was so disappointed by their Bluetooth connectivity and I returned them after a week.
I thought that H8i will be different. They are bigger and they can easily fit complex technology without sacrificing the quality. I used them for a week and returned them.
The quality of the headphones was great. The noise cancelation was working awesome. The sound was great too.
But the connectivity … oh boy! It was a disaster. It was constantly stopping the music on pause and I have to play it again. The sound was chunking. They were connecting in and out.
I like the Banq and Olufsen sound but they really have to work on their wireless
