The K92’s generous 40mm drivers deliver the highest sensitivity and widest frequency response of the K52 and K72 – resulting in powerful output that reveals every detail. The K92s also feature a low-impedance design for compatibility with a broad range of playback devices, from professional studio gear to portable music players.

Closed-Back Design – Get Lost in Your Sound

The K92 headphones’ closed-back design eliminates audio leakage and delivers sound to your ears only. The mic won’t pick up the sound of the click track in your headphones – and you’ll always be able to mix and master peacefully without being distracted by outside noise. This exceptional level of audio isolation is due to a new acoustic chamber, which sits between the ear cup and the hinge that connects to the headband.

Our innovative design gives you the freedom to move your head in any direction, without letting sound in or out. With the K92, you’ll enjoy a private workspace, no matter where you choose to create.

The Style that Fits All – Comfortable Listening

Getting the perfect mix sometimes means monitoring track levels for hours – and that’s when comfort really counts. We designed our unique self-adjusting headband to automatically create the perfect fit for every band member. No need to mess with delicate sizing mechanisms, which have the potential to break over time. The exposed headband design keeps the K92 headphones comfortably light, without compromising driver size. Breathable, lightweight ear pads encircle your ears, rather than putting pressure on them. The golden accents emphasis the high level of quality and create a stylish appeal. And a single-sided cable gives you freedom to move. To sum it up, these high-performance headphones sound, feel and look great.

Professional Build Quality – Long Live the Music

AKG is known for making professional-grade gear that can stand the test of time and the K92 headphones are no exception. We put them through extreme testing and abuse to ensure they’ll handle anything you throw at them: Our regimen of drop-tests simulates, exaggerated falls. Gold-plated connections and 80,000 cable bend cycles – at both end points – ensure the cable won’t break or under-perform. And intensive driver testing – a prolonged series of 3W bursts every half second – means that the drivers won’t fail when you really need them. Since ear pads are often the first components to show wear we made them replaceable to protect your investment over time. With exception performance and elegant design to match the K92 is built for pros.

  1. ScrotieJohnson

sounds good a little flat on the bass in my opinion. they sound good in every other respect, i mainly bought to use with my audio reciever-amplifier. these sound better than the old beats i have. they are not uncomfortable either.the cords long enough to reach my sofa too.

  2. E. Davila

Bought these to replace a much higher end of headphones that finally gave up the ghost. These headphones are lightweight, clear, but not for the audiophile. Even though they have decent size drivers they sound flat and lack punch. I primarily use them for work related tasks and that makes me appreciate their build quality, light weight, and aesthetics

  3. Ken harper

Great bass tones for my electronic drums.

  4. Ram Customer

Enjoyed these and hoped I had found the headphones I was looking for – seemed like I did for the first few months… but just after the 90 day mark the cord started having connectivity issues and I only get sound out of one ear.

  5. steven stewart

    Nice headphones for the price

  6. KMC Inc

Good loud cans for studio sessions. Nice fit, good over ear separation. Great price. Boom.

  7. Honestly

My 17yr old is really happy with this headphones. His grandma decided to vacuum clean his room and ended up sucking up his prior headset’s wire. This was his replacement and he’s thrilled the accident happened.

  8. Arash

I’ve been gigging with this set for a minute and in every other scenario besides DJ’ing they’ve been great and they look fashionable. Just beware of 0 noise cancellation.

Not in love with the 3.5mm to 1/4″ adapter – but I’ve never had a good experience with those in consistency so it would’ve been nice if it was just a hard wired 1/4″ jack.

  9. Rick Strahl

I had an older version of these and these newer ones are much more comfortable to wear for longer sessions and also fit better and more securely. Sounds quality is great, with excellent frequency separation.

  10. Josh

It’s a good pair of non-noise muffling earphones. I got it because of the cord (I didn’t want Bluetooth on my head sending waves of I-don’t-know-what to my brain for hours on end.) I appreciate that the cord is long. I am able to get up and walk away for some feet without yanking the thing off my head and smashing my device. The sound quality is nice.

  11. Day-Z-🌼

Comfortable, lightweight, excellent sound reproduction and a pleasure to finally start listening to music again on headphones instead of earbuds.

  12. Michael

Honestly most headphones in stores for this price are kinda bad. But trying these is honestly mind blowing. I’m suprised they figured out how to make good sound quality for that low of a price tag. I love using these headphones when mixing! The only real downside is that there isn’t enough sound isolation, but my room is quiet anyway so that really doesn’t matter for me. Overall these work great! Also if your reading this review I highly recommend using soundid if you want to make your studio headphones have a flat sound curve, which delivers the flat studio sound that provides extremely accurate audio,
