I wanted a high quality speaker so that I could listen to music as well as ebooks. I had tried a number of fairly cheap products in the past and was not too happy with the quality of sound. One thing I can say about this B&O speaker is that it sounds amazing. I was particularly Impressed with the B&O app that you can link to the speaker and which allows you to change the sound depending on what you are listening to – for example there is an audio performance feature for spoken word, a party feature for upbeat sounds, and an ambient feature for those chill tracks (and more). Another impressive feature of this speaker is that you can charge your iPhone on it in a wireless way. In addition to this, it is very slick and portable. I love that if someone calls my cell phone and my phone is connected to the speaker, its intelligent enough to know that its a call, and so does not create issues with the sound on the call. I’ve only had it for a month, but on the basis of that I highly recommend.

I bought two hoping to pair them as a stereo system as B&O claims can be done. It’s impossible and the B&O app keeps losing connection to the speakers. Just buy one and forget about stereo connection. I’m so disappointed in B&O’s tech. The speaker is mainly for the hardware
your business –
You really have to get the app to make this work well. The app has an equalizer (which you set) optimized for your specific speaker. The sound is spectacular with Apple Music set at lossless download and the app set to optimal. You can select other sound modes in the app, as well as save your own sound set up to use later.
Without the app it’s very good, but not amazing.
Also, straight out of the box it has no charge so it plays VERY quietly. Once it is properly charged it will blow your doors off
All of this would be nice to have explained in some kind of instruction booklet but the instructions they supply are inadequate.

A bit pricey for a portable speaker but the quality is very good both built and sound! Awesome design. Was in between choosing Marshall and B&O, just decided to try this one out. No regrets at all.

This is the only speaker you will ever need. It is top notch. Everyone asks about it if they are over and it is playing. It fills the house with an amazing clear sound. The app is very well designed for adjusting the sound you want. Very easy to connect to devices. Mostly I connect this to my phone Bluetooth and my projector Bluetooth. Great battery life. But mostly the quality of the sound is EPIC. Absolutely a treat to your ears and to the music that you play on this. Also very fun for movies. Very Elegant design with very good quality materials.

Pairing is very difficult. Imaging is poor as Bluetooth is never great. Too much thump instead of base. I’m waiting on 3.5 splitter to connect without Bluetooth for better sound quality. Looking for wifi app with mixer to soften boom. I have yet to see Bluetooth HIFI.

The app is easy to use, has nice sound which is customizable eq, or bass and treble via the app, knocked off 1 star as I ordered in black and received the cream color

Great sound quality but it is bulky. Came in a defective outer packing so the piece was slightly dented on the side.

Quality is great. Bass hits. Sound fills the room. My only ding is that the battery only lasts maybe 4 hours at 75% volume. Best to keep it plugged in if you are really going to use this, but I am not sure how that will impact battery life in the future.

The signal to noise ratio was sub-par IMHO. The hiss level when powered on and at rest was far too high for a product from B&O. The mids and highs were not nearly as defined as I expected at this price point. It was shipped and packed properly. Arrived in great shape. It is annoying also that an app is required just to make the BT connection. The wireless charger functioned fine with my Samsung S20 Ultra 5G (in a medium level OtterBox case).
