I started looking for headphones primarily because I wanted some I could wear for hours, and secondarily that sounded really good. (I’m a musician, so sound is important.)

These are my new favorite cans. I’ve got headphones from mid priced Graddo’s, to Sennheiser 660 pro’s. Without using the tunable EQ, they have perfect bass. From Death Metal, to progressive to Jazz. However… With my usual UK Drum And Bass, I pumped the EQ curve up to a V curve, and they blew me away! All types of EDM benifited from this. From Portishead, to House, Breaks, Trap, all the way to Jump Up and Liquid. AND NO DISTORTION! I’m sold. I haven’t had this response without a headphone amplifier on any other pair. So, without the EQ change, they were a bit bassier than some more analitical cans. That can be dialed back. After which they sort of feel like Bayerdynamics. But pump up the bass, and strap in! I’m going to buy a higher end set soon. I’ll review them too. Hope this helps anyone that listens to EDM or any other Bass heavy music, but still wants great battery life. And the warm hug of lambs skin on your ears.

Sound is fantastic, exactly what you would expect from Band & Olufsen. Tight, bright and clear. Couldn’t always get the buttons to take me where I needed to go. With practice that could be overcome. Beautifully made, super comfortable, once positioned you forget you have them on. Unfortunately for me I have a very specific problem with over the ear phones, they all get hot fairly quickly on my ears which makes them hard to wear for long periods. I was hoping these might not, but no such luck. I think I’ll have to stick to on ear style headphones. These are a B&O product so you know your getting you’r moneys worth. I still have a Bang & Olufsen Beo linear turntable I bought in the early 80’s that still looks and sounds like the day I bought it. Just wish they still made their cartridges for it.

I bought my wife a pair of bluetooth headphones for her birthday, and I got jealous since I was constantly tethered to the my laptop when listening with my Sennheiser Momentum wired phones. I wanted something where I could listen wirelessly but not sacrifice sound quality. These headphones sound at least as good as my wired phones but with a very unique sound signature that is a little heavier on treble than I expected. Since I’m a treble junkie anyway, this is really working for me.

As a concert pianist, sound emanates thru my ears and heart. I have purchased and or been gifted several over the ear headsets but, my Bang & Olufsen are by far the best sounding lows, highs and mid-range and are my headsets of choice, for life. BTW, these headsets are both wireless and wired (cable included) and I only use them as wired as I believe the cable still delivers the very best in sound. I highly recommend this headset and trust me, you will absolutely love them, for life!

People have pretty individualized sound tastes, so I’ll just say it’s punchy, and the Beoplay app allows you to tighten/expand/modify the sound stage, and I like it. The bluetooth connection is good. No crackling, etc, cheap earbuds/headphones make when you move, etc.
The battery claims are legit, though I’m sure it’ll vary by an hour or so based on what volume you have it set at.
Can’t speak for call quality, as I will never use these to make/receive phone calls (who even makes phone calls anyway).

There is a reason why bang and Olufsen charge premium prices, because they deliver a premium product. Unless you are wealthy or a sound aficionado these are probably an unjustifiable luxury. However, if you are a music connoisseur and regularly use Bluetooth headphones then these are actually a good value believe it or not. The lambskin covered memory foam pads feel like clouds and I seriously look forward to putting them on every single time. Most importantly, the sound is amazing! They have a deeply rich, balanced and polished sound. I am especially hard to please because I like powerful tight and pronounced bass as well as a balanced clear sound profile. Banging & Olufsen obviously have a unique proprietary digital signal processor because you can distinctly hear the depth, richness, excitement and definition in the sound signature. It’s hard to describe but the sound feels silky and polished even at high volumes. Every nuance is clean, clear and cuts through what is a very powerful and exciting sound. The bass is not only powerful and tight but it doesn’t overpower the mid & treble. Though I am admittedly a bass junkie, I still want to hear the articulation in the upper registers, and these manage to do that. These even have enough sub-bass to create the illusion of a 3D soundscape. I actually prefer these to the B7 which has a noticeably flatter and less exciting sound. The B4 also has the new Bluetooth 4.2 spec which I have not seen on any other product in its price range. Another noteworthy characteristic is that there isn’t any volume or sound difference between battery powered and plugged in.

I bought a pair of these for my wife because she wanted a pair of noise cancelling over the ear headphones. I expected them to be high quality headphones. I helped her get them set up and tuned in the EQ for her and we were both blown away with the clarity in the mids and highs. Great tight bass, but it feels like it can get a little over powering at times. Almost like wearing a subwoofer on your ears. If you can get the EQ sorted out they sound absolutely fabulous and are extremely comfortable headphones. Probably the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn. I liked the ones I got my wife so much I ordered a second set for myself.

Ok, I’m pretty picky about my sound when it comes to headphones! I’ve tried a lot of the top brands and most are trash. I’ve always been loyal to Klipsch cause I have found they offer the best sound for the money! My latest klipsch are the r6 neckband which does have a flaw in the rubber sections that have peeled off but the sound is still absolutely amazing and of coarse those are earbuds! I also own the beats power pro buds and I must say they don’t sound to bad at all. Actually the best beats I’ve heard so far and also paired with an iPhone it has its perks. I tried the new Klipsch t5 but it was the first gen and had pairing issues right away. So I sent those back and was debating to fork out for the t5 2 but I thought since I have power pros and the R6 already I thought I would give over the ear headphones a shot just for something different and came across these! Oh man I’m glad I did, these things sound pretty damn good! I’m really impressed with the look and feel of these bang and Olufsen! Do these compare with Klipsch sound? I think so. We will have to see on the quality in time and I haven’t had any connection problems whatsoever! As soon as I turn on they pair instantly. Also these seem to sound better and are louder when you use the Bluetooth compared to wired up. Which is odd but totally cool with me. The app is ok too. I don’t use it cause I use Spotify and there’s an EQ app called spot EQ that I use that’s totally free and freaking awesome! I recommend it! I’m pretty happy with these headphones. I may go ahead and grab the Klipsch t5ll as well cause they are down to 150 at the moment and are also buds and I’ve always been loyal to Klipsch! They’ve done me good in the past and customer service has been exceptional! Maybe I’m also gonna be a bang and Olufsen loyalist as well! If your debating then don’t. I promise these sound amazing !

First, the build quality is excellent. Second, the sound quality is excellent and you could download the app on your device and you can control the sound to your own personalization.
I find that in itself the reason to get this model over any other similar priced models. If you love bass you can pump it up, you like to hear the vocals more you could increase the mid levels. Like I said, it offers fully customization And you can name the settings of the equalization.

The headphones are great so far — a little quieter than my previous V-Moda LP Crossfade and definitely don’t have as much kick as they do but they are very stylish and comfortable compared to the Crossfades which in comparison almost feel like wearing an anchor on your head. Plus they are wireless.
One thing that did rub the wrong way was the fact that these nice, polished, stylish pair of headphones from a well known brand with a hefty price tag did not come with any sort of case. My previous two pairs of headphones (Sony Noise Cancelling, and V-Modas) both came with nice cases. I know it probably sounds like I am whining or complaining, but I mean really c’mon! They are that expensive, and you brag about the quality, and you can’t even include a simple case?
