As one can expect the quality is high material and audio wise.

Great for PS5, but lacks a few features that would make gaming better, like the ability to toggle voice to game sound balance. Sometimes requires to unplug and plug it back in. But better quality than the trashy Sony ps5 headset that literally fell apart after a few year or so. Sound quality is pretty good too and the app is nice to use, but I often forget about it.

If your a gamer in the market for noise cancelling headphones these are actually solid value but only when they work…
First off these headphones are not just for gaming. They sound fantastic for music or movies and are great for phone calls too. The app lets you choose a soundstage based on your activity or preference which amplifies the versatility. For music alone these are fairly priced.
The noise cancellation is just okay. I fly regularly and would not put these in the same ball park as Sony/Bose/apple for noise cancellation but they get the job done.
My biggest complaint is that the wireless connectivity to my Xbox can be extremely finicky. Sometimes they connect and work great, other times I get static or feedback that make them unusable. This has happened across 3 Xboxes in two different houses. It is a known issue due to Wi-Fi interface with no clear fix from Microsoft.
All in, if you are in the market for a high end set of headphones and also have an Xbox these can be a solid pick – if they work for your home/Xbox. I wouldn’t call these a great value but they are fairly priced for what they do.

Really fancied these early on. They went on sale and I scooped ’em up. Initially didn’t really care for the functionality at first (tap the side of the ear cup for functions, no buttons, easy to accidentally “tap”). Also didn’t care for the app, kept getting prompted to validate the headphones with the app, and spammed to update even though I’d just updated. Another big bummer for me was, these things sound pretty good but when I really felt like cranking up the volume via line in cable, the audio distorts really bad at levels that are lower than the max wireless volume… weird.
When I got passed the not-so-great parts about this headset I learned about the really good parts. This thing connects via wireless dongle and/or bluetooth. So when I say and/or, I mean it can do both at the same time! Need to run discord on your phone and hear game sounds on your PC at the same time? This thing can do it. Pretty neat! So if you need a versatile headset with a solid build, good sound and mic quality, very good battery life, and great noise cancelling these might be what you’re looking for.

Let’s talk gaming headphones/ headsets & features. I have tried everything from the official PlayStation 4 & 5 headset, steel series 7, Arctis pro, turtle beach 600, 700, audeze Penrose/ Maxwell, & the VZR model one. I always find myself coming back to the B&O Portal headphones for comfort, reliability, position awareness, weight, ANC, & sound. The Portal has over 24hrs of battery when using for gaming & over 48hrs when listening to music or watching movies on the go. I’ve always been able to rely on it simply working. Any firmware updates that it needs it receives wirelessly through your phone & yes phone calls & media still work while playing. I recommend anyone that buys these headphones to just put them on without playing or listening to anything for hours & feel how comfortable they feel. The comfort gets nicer & softer over time. I’ve purchased two pairs for the days when they ever stop selling, I’ll have another backup pair.

These headphones are my favorite. I’m an audio engineer who wanted some wireless headphones that had a ton of flexibility. Battery life is A+, has usb/aux ports just in case which is awesome and a step up from apple overear headphones, and having the usb transmitters is also a big plus. My only complaint is that the Dolby atmos feature only works with windows infrastructure, which was a huge draw for me to purchase these.
