Firstly, buyers need to understand that these are NOT normal consumer headphones for tv, movies, or music. These are for monitoring audio EXACTLY as it sounds as it enters an audio recording device or mixing board. I bought these as studio monitoring headphones to use with my linear PCM recorder (a Tascam dr-05) connected to a boom pole setup (an XLR shotgun microphone, mounted on a pole, that feeds into the recorder with a regular mini jack). For the price I was not expecting very much. I was VERY surprised at the quality and accuracy of the audio. The sound rendering is excellent and extremely true to what is actually being recorded which is exactly what you want for studio monitors. There is no unnecessary boosting of bass, treble, or vocals and the volume on these babies is perfect. My only complaint with this product is that the build quality SEEMS slightly low, as they feel like the outer casing is made of thin plastic. I have owned these for over a year now and have put them through normal durability punishment and they have held up great! I have been especially hard on the headband adjustment clips (usually the first thing to break) and they have held up extremely well considering everything I have thrown at them. So while they “feel” as though the outer casing is cheaply made, they are, in fact, quite durable and sturdy. I will be buying 2-3 more of these exact units so my whole crew can listen and monitor. Based solely on this product, BEHRINGER is now a name I trust and associate with extreme quality AND excellent value.

Amazing studio headphones for the price. I have very sensitive ears, so something that doesn’t rest in or on my ears is a must. These fit perfectly around my ears without hugging my head very tight. The sound quality is really good. The only thing I really dislike about them is that they have no volume control on them.
I do transcription for work and I use these headphones for that. The sound that comes out of them is very true to the audio without adjusting levels for bass, treble, etc. It is very clear and easy to hear.
They are light, which is good because they’re more comfortable for long sessions wearing them, but they do feel like they could break with some rough handling. I’ve had them a few months now without a problem, but I’m pretty careful with them and only use them at my desk. I don’t think you can expect different at this price.
There’s not a lot of noise reduction in them, so you do need a quiet space.
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheap option for studio headphones. I do wish the volume was adjustable on the headphones, but I don’t think they can be beat for the price.

Really nice quality headphones for the price. They sound good and the cord is much heavier than most cheap headphones have. Behringer makes good stuff. I like them!

I’ve used this brand and model of headphones before, and like them just fine. What usually happens to them is that the cord comes loose inside the ear piece, and they stop working. It’s a big hassle to open them up and re-solder the wires, so I just get a new pair. The previous pair had decent sound quality. This latest pair is a little on the tinny side. They’re definitely not great, if you’re mixing music or doing something important with them, but for casual gaming or listening to a podcast or playing background music or whatever, they’re just fine. I’ve had worse headphones that were twice this price, so when this pair gives up the ghost, I will get another just like them, if they’re still available.
