I sync my phone with the built-in microphones of Ford hybrids at work and I am told the sound is crystal clear. I installed this microphone with a brand new Clarion stereo. The mic is less than a foot from my wife’s mouth when she is driving, and pointed directly at her. The sound quality is only OK. Better than my car’s mic, but nowhere close to clear.

Didn’t work. Defective right out of the package.
Not worth the hassle of returning it.

Oh wow, the ease of hands free. Now I see why people like it. This mic has great clarity and makes things so much easier and less of a chance for a ticket.
