This card works great, but man it’s loud. I had to go into settings and pull the db back quite a bit and it’s still quite loud. If I turn my pc up all the way, I’m sure it’ll blow my speakers.
I’m still trying to figure out why the 2.1 mode doesn’t separate the Left and Right channels. Support is asking me to reseat the card or try another pcie slot. I’ll get time someday.

I put it in my HP Z440. The sound quality is noticable. I have a 2.1 speaker and wow. On board audio is basic and if you want better audio for content creation or gaming and your on a budget. This is what you want

I had the older model of this soundcard but it got lost somehow when I removed it when moving. Then I purchased the Omni 5.1 USB souncard which works very well, BUT it doesn’t let you switch from speakers to headphones. So I purchased this and it sounds sooo amazing and crystal clear. This soundcard blows the onboard sound right out the water. Theres absolutely no comparison whatsover. For those of you whos saying it isn’t loud enough or its not clear…..The magic is in the EQ. You MUST know how to set the EQ properly. This goes for pretty much any sound system in general. If you know how to set the bands on the EQ properly, you can make any low end sound card or system sound pretty decent. But with this sound card and a decent speaker system, the sound is abso;utely incredible…Crystal clear highs, solid mids, and very powerful bass. Again set the EQ properly and you’ll be amazed at the sound this card can produce.

This sound card software is picky. On windows 11 the sound test by its own software doesn’t work right. You have to use the windows sound test to get it to work, and switching speakers to headphones doesn’t always switch, and may have to spend some time to get it to work after unplugging the headphones. Other than that the card sound good and works great
