Frank Piambino –
This an amazing product especially at the price-point.
I’m using it in a home-stereo application and it is dead silent.
Having the flexibility to individually configure highpass/lowpass/bandpass filters, eq curves, and delays for each of the eight output channels may be overkill but allows almost endless experimenting. I’ll be receiving a calibrated microphone and will be using that along with REW software to check/correct room response. I’ve set up filters and delays by ear but I’m very impressed so far.
Ram Customer –
I’ve heard that a few people have had unwanted noise issues with this unit.
Personally I’ve had no noise problems at all. That said I put a ferrite choke on the ground approximately 3″ from the dsp and I’m using audioquest tower rca’s 2′. So far I’m very impressed with this dsp! The software for windows is a breeze to set up. Atm I’m using it with Focal access 2way passive and in the near future will be running 3way active again with the Focal 165AS 3.
