I bought these for a bluetooth speaker I made. These were the dedicated low frequency subs and they do their job well for a six inch sub woofer. I also purchased one inch tweeters, four inch mids, and regular six inch mid range woofers for the primary left and right channels. These subs added the desired low frequency response I was looking for. I actually really like Dayton Audio stuff. Just know exactly what you are buying, and exactly what you want to use it for, pair it with the proper enclosure and power, and they are great speakers. Now I have a stupid loud bluetooth speaker that puts all those tiny ones to shame., and sounds great at low volumes all the way up to full blast.

Drove a pair of these in the rear doors of a Ram 2500 with a 4 channel Pioneer 1000w amp. Set the crossover around 200 hertz. It had a good tight bass sound. I was hearing some rattling at certain frequency until I closed the doors. Probably an air pressure thing. I had to grind the openings out a bit and drill new holes. It wasn’t a direct fit.

These are quality built speakers. We have limited space for our surround sound and these fit the bill perfectly. We had to compromise between sound volume and clean install. I used a Fosi amp to power these and they sound great.
