Very hard to beat this “entry level” CD player. Very revealing and accurate. Comes with a Wolfson DAC that is very good, though a bit too forward for my taste. I coupled it with the Schiit Modi 3 DAC and now it is punching way beyond its price point I replaced a Cambridge Audio Azur 640 CD player that lasted 25 years, so build quality is the real deal. Sounds better than my buddies Musical Fidelity that cost him 4 times as much. He’s pissed, I’m thrilled!!
